About the "The Gambler"

One has to pause and wonder on the journey that many of us have taken in our life before we found Country music. I was brought up in a world of Rock n' Roll and lived the music in my daily life. I never forgot the beat and have great memories of my heros and in my ♥ I wanted to perform music of some genre. When I left the Royal Air Force I was coming to end of a very successful football career and needed something else to do. I needed another goal. A spot of gardening perhaps? I did'nt think so !!. Digging with a ♠ was not my idea of fun.

We took a holiday in Jersey and I came back owning an EKO guitar and another folk singer was born. The pubs and ♣ s where I sang and met many friends, was my stage for some years to come

My daughter, like a true ♦ and keen line dancer, took us to a Country & Western Linedance one Saturday evening - and the next door opened and here I am THE GAMBLER. A new chapter in my life opened and I now have the enthusiam to take this music as far as I can.

Always remember, in life, "The glass is always half full !"

Knows when to walk away and knows when to run!
