Hi Texas Kid and thanks for signing the guest book. I am not too familiar with Re-enactment groups but if you you check out www.countrymusic.org.uk/ and sign up to that Forum (which is free) and then post your question regarding Re-enactment sites/info then I am sure that someone will come back to your topic giving you quite a lot of feed back. I think that Re-enactment clubs have already started a topic but that was some time ago and thus the topic is probably buried beneath all the others topics that have since followed.
Apologies if you have already done that though.

Yes I like listening to country and western music, although I am also interested in joining some c/w re-enactment cowboy clubs generally in my are which is the West Midlands. However, if you know of any re-enactment clubs that I could join further afield if needs be, I,d be grateful. Thanks. My cowboy name is The Texas Kid.
Hi Micheal an' great to hear from you at last !!. Yes I guess I have progressed a bit since belting out hymns in the choir but there again that gave me the start on my musical career. Happy days I guess. Now then if you are not already aware then check out these two sites that Valerie and I have created as a dedicated site for NCH Alverstoke folks and also a Forum.
http://nchalverstoke.lefora.com/
and
http://www.nch-alverstoke.moonfruit.com/
and they might invoke good memories for you and it would be nice if you could join in the debate and add any material you may have.
The sites have only been going for about 3 weeks as of 1st Oct 2009 and the sites are attracting a lot of interest and comment also some interesting photos are now being unearthed so I hope you will pass the word about and join us.
Kind Regards
Brian
Hi Brian,
You have certainly progressed from the NCH choir!!

Hi Intono an' tks for adding a post. Nice to hear from an old Homer but I guess I was well into the Royal Air Force at the time of your captivity !!. Hope you enjoyed the site and give my regards to Terry when next to speak to him. We are aiming to have a bit of renuion up in Clacton sometime later in the year.

Tks Sam and hope you are doing well. Your 'my space' page does you credit so much so I have added the link link here so that other folks may catch you. Not sure whether we just click on it or copy and paste it in the browser but either way it may give you further exposure to folks.

Hi Brian, Best wishes from across the pond! You've certainly come a long way since RAF Cosford 1959/60!
Really like your singing and your website! Looking forward to that CD/DVD.
Cheers from your old RAF bud Rick in California
Hi All an' we have discontinued the original Guestbook which held at least 60 entries but unfortunately we cannot migrate them to this Guestbook. However we would be more than pleased to start receiving Guestbook entries as you see fit using this utility.
A big thankyou to all who had previously written on the old book and we wish you well for the future.
Kind regards
Brian & Valerie

Hi Karen an' I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it was lovely to see and and your friends and also other folks who I have met previously during the gigs I have done up your part of the country this year. Got home at 3 in the morning or thereabouts after a pretty uneventful drive down the motorways. You take care now and hopefully I shall be up in your neck of the woods sometime again.
Sending you this from our caravan holiday home but WiFi is not too great.
